Submit Presentation Proposals for HLC’s Annual Conference

HLC invites presentation proposals for its 2016 Annual Conference, to be held April 15-19 in Chicago, Illinois. The Conference will examine the relationship between higher learning and accreditation, and how innovation in higher learning affects that relationship Beyond the Horizon. Proposals should address this theme through mission, integrity, teaching and learning, and institutional effectiveness. They are due by July 31. Learn more >>

Adopted: Policy changes related to sanctions

The HLC Board of Trustees approved on first reading the following proposed revised policies on February 26-27, 2015. Comments are invited on the proposals before the Board takes final action in June 2015. Please email comments to policycomments@hlcommission.org by May 15.

the policy provides that a student who wishes
to file a complaint with the department must
first exhaust all formal and informal avenues
provided by the institut
