Vandalia schools replaces bus system

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A Miami Valley school district solved busing concerns that plagued the district for more than a year.

The Vandalia-Butler school district replaced First Student as its transportation provider following several routing errors and accidents during the last school year.

2 NEWS told you before the company had been involved in at least four separate accidents. That is one of the reasons the school district isn’t using them this year.

The district bought 24 new buses and kept 5 used buses to form its own fleet. They also hired a separate bus service called, Community Bus to provide routing and drive students around.
