Who should decide politician pay raises?

Who? Already in US Constitution. We The People have the last word on all decisions. Just the opposite Presidet Obama thinks.

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The days of some elected officials deciding whether to give themselves a raise could soon be coming to an end.

Ohio state legislators want a new commission to decide.  Some state elected officials like judges for instance, say they have not had a pay raise since 2008.

Right now, state legislators have the final say on that.  The proposal is to appoint nine Ohioans to decide whether to increase or decrease pay.

Ohio Senate President Keith Faber is efforting a change.  The republican’s resolution could impact who decides if your elected officials get pay raises.

“I think its important we give the voters a chance to vote on this issue, to take the politicians out of pay raises. I’m confident if the voters are given a choice on this, they’ll support it,” said Senator Keith Faber (R-District 12).
